If you are a reader here is my list of suggested summer reads and what kind of mood/ genre they fall into. Some book are on my TBR list ( to be read) others I’ve read.
This is on my book clubs to be read list. It has great reviews. If you like historical WWII fiction this is a great pick for you.
So I started watching HBO’s Nancy Drew Show and it reignited my love of Nancy Drew. So I plan on reading a couple Nancy Drew book this summer to switch things up. I think most thriller readers started with Nancy Drew.
Verity is a twisty turnery novel and Colleen Hoovers First thriller. Its a great read and you will devour it quickly.
I am a Tarryn Fisher fan, and to be honest i haves’t finished this book, yet. I am confident it is going to be another great book.
I am itching to read this book. The first book The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek was amazing, it covers the Appalachian pack horse book women, the blue people of Kentucky. I am anticipating that it is going to be a great historical fiction book.

These are some of my favorite thing to have the most pleasant dreams and sleep soundly.
Skin Care
My night time skincare consist of the Blue Tansy oil followed by a lot of Cerave PM moisturizer.
This lotion has a nice relaxing herby scent, it helps me relax after my before bed shower. it lasts quite a while as I only use a little at a time.
Comfy Cozy Sleep Clothes
I rave about these pants they are super comfy. They wash well i can’t say enough goo things about them.
Clam and Clear
Prefacing this with I am not a doctor this isn’t medical advice talk to your health care provider.
Natural calm is a great source of magnums which a lot of people are deficient in magnum this is a great supplement to take in the evenings to help you sleep well and relax.
This is another supplement i like to take in the evening before bed to make sure i am hydrated and have the minerals i need. it doesn’t taste great but it helps with sleep and muscle cramps.
My other big suggestion is NO SCREENS BEFORE BED, or use blue light blocking glasses. I read with a nook paper white because it doesn’t have a blue light cast to it and it doesn’t disrupt me before bed.

This is one of my husbands favorite T-Shirts its high quality you get from Carrhart. He pick them the wear over any other shirts, they wash and wear very well.
Hey Dude shoes
These have been a huge hit with my husband. He loves that they slide on. They are breathable and washable. So far they have held up very well. I have also seen people do some very awesome personalizations to them with leather work.
Sun shirts
If the dad you are shopping for is outside for any amount of time in the blazing sun, farming, fishing or just mowing the lawn, these shirts are great to protect them in the sun. I know and you know they aren’t reapplying sunscreen often enough this is a perfect solution. It also has a hood so they don’t fry their dome. (Yes DAD I AM TALKING TO YOU!)
Back Scratcher
I know this seems silly, BUT my husband loves this thing. It has saved our marriage, because I am bad at scratching backs. It is used daily, so much so we have two!
Saxx Underwear
I personally don’t wear these but have bought them for the males in my life and they always get rave reviews. Great for active guys and frankly they probably need new underwear!
Outdoor kids In an Inside World
My husband is a big MeatEater podcast/ show fan, so I pre ordered this for him for fathers day. As soon as I found out Steven Rinella wrote this book I knew it would be something up his alley, so I got it for him.

For Busy Mama
These little tiles have made my life so much easier. I am constantly losing my phone, purse, keys, and TV remote. There for my keys, purse and remote all have tiles on them. It really saves a lot of time.

Planners
I love this planner. I have had two. They are beautifully made, by a family business. They are great for Charlotte Mason homeschoolers. High quality paper excellently made, I cant say enough good things about them.

Another great journal and planner business, Yellow Paper House, I love their Junque Journal. it is super cute and fun to journal. I use it for my business planning and daily to do list. It's run by a mother daughter duo, which is a great reason to support them by buying a mothers day gift from there, right? They have meal planners, knitting planers, book journals, and notepads.
For The Foodie Mama
Anova Sous Vide, I have had mine for 3 years we use it about once a week to sousvide, steaks, chops, pork loins, and fish. I have even used it to make cream brûlée.
French Press
This is a french press you can't break! Trust me I've tried. I’ve had this one for almost 4 years. It is still intact, and I can't say that for the glass ones.
This milk frother is amazing. It is super powerful. It is inexpensive but great quality.
