Farm and Ranch Rig Must Haves

After chatting with serval professionals here’s what I think is a pretty comprehensive list!

Farm and Ranch Safety

Farmers and Ranchers are at risks tractor accidents, falls, entanglements, Amputations, animal Injuries, and burns are all possibilities on farms and ranches. Its important not be fearful, but to rather be prepared.

Fire Extinguisher

Equiment catches on fire. Trucks can catch on fire , equipment can set grass on fire. ITs important to have a quick way to put it out so you don’t burn down the county.

First Aid Trauma Kit

I have a basic first aid

Emergency Blanket

Water

I don’t love drinking water out of plastic but its convent. I try keep a gallon of water from the grocery store and a lot of times I will carry our one gallon Yeti full with water, especially in the winter.

Jumper cables / Battery charger

Snacks and Beef Jerky

Nuts, Jerky and sunflower seeds are feed truck must haves . Granola bars and protien bars. They will all survive being the rig for a while being knocked around and still save your rear when you are hungry.

Air compressor


Battery powered impact



Blowtorch

Tape measure
